Praia de Rocha is about 40 miles from Faro, and is a close neighbour of Portimao and Alvor. Portimao is less than two miles away, and Alvor only three miles. The resort in on the western side of The Algarve.
The beach at Praia de Rocha is very wide, sandy and over two kilometres long, truly a paradise for those visitors looking for a beach holiday. Families can be certain the kids will love it. An evening walk along the beach is a delight. The sea is crystal clear, warm, and perfect for swimming.
As well as the main beach, visitors can find many sandy coves, and explore the cliffs and rock formations.
