Places to Visit - Costa Vincentina

Just a short distance from Praia da Luz is the Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Lagos is only 5 miles away. This wild and spectacular park is protected, and tourist development not allowed. The cliffs are awesome.
There are several beaches in the Park, with excellent surfing conditions. Enthusiasts from across the world are attracted here, with the Portuguese surfing championships held here each year. Wildlife includes eagles, and one of the few remaining Otter reserves in Europe. Walkers will love exploring the Park.
Accommodation is very limited, those visitors wanting an extended visit will usually base themselves in Praia da Luz or Lagos.
